Grameen Ayurveda camps & volunteers

Since 2021, BORF India has taken free Ayurveda camps to villages, schools and hostels. BORFINDIA now lets members organise camps, users find them, and volunteers join in.

Bringing Ayurveda to people where they live

Each camp brings Ayurvedic doctors to a community for the day: consultations based on each person’s Prakriti, and education about the medicinal plants that grow nearby.

Volunteers are the heart of every camp — welcoming people, managing queues, spreading the word and helping doctors focus on care. Any user can become a volunteer.

Safe, respectful camps

  • Volunteers support camps but never give medical advice or medicines
  • A short volunteer agreement and code of conduct is accepted before joining
  • Photos of participants are taken and shared only with their consent
  • Extra checks apply for activities involving children
